Super Hero Barack Obama

I really don't understand the Americans.

First they elect him (and a large number elected him) and now they start doing him bad time.

It's like complaining has become a second nature of the Americans.

Nevertheless it is Great piece of satire.

Rapunzel - 2010 new hit

The original version was that a girl got pulled from the modern world and replaced Rapunzel, and Rapunzel got turned into a squirrel.

But we’re on a clearer, more classic fairy-tale sort of track right now with Dean Wellins as co-director.

It really plays on the mystery of the girl in the tower...

Makin of Beauty and the Beast

Sometimes the rough early animation seems too blank and jittery before the inbetweener's work here, and sometimes it's flowy.
Look at Belle's reaction to the beast...its so confusing...
I think I want to be the more flowy rough animator....
Unless Belle's reaction in the beginning of the video was already done by an inbetweener....

Paul Newman - R.I.P

Legendary actor and philanthropist Paul Newman died of cancer at his home in Westport, Connecticut, yesterday.
He was 83.

Film legend Paul Newman has been set to lend his voice to a car character in the animated feature, "Cars".

"Cars," the seventh animated feature to be created by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, is a high octane adventure comedy that features a wide assortment of cars as characters who get their kicks on Route 66.

"Dopey" - loose-limbed dwarf ...

Dubbed "Dopey" by his brothers, this loose-limbed dwarf has never spoken a word; as Happy explains to Snow White, "He never tried."

But Dopey isn't really dopey, he's just childlike.

Is it dopey to try and steal a second and third kiss from Snow White on your way to work, or to make yourself tall enough to dance with her by climbing on Sneezy's shoulders? Not at all. Dopey's a genius at fun and games (and a whiz at the drums to boot).

He just doesn't mind looking silly along the way.

So what if he wiggles his ears and shuffles his feet to his own skippity-skip beat?

He's simply being himself, and that's pretty smart.

In the early development process on the film, Dopey was the "leftover" dwarf with no particular personality.

Then one day animator Ward Kimball discovered vaudevillian actor Eddie Collins at a Los Angeles burlesque house.

Kimball invited the baby-faced Mr. Collins to the studio to perform and improvise pantomimes of Dopey's reactions on film.

Thanks much to Collins' innovative acting, Dopey assumed a very definite personality and soon became one of the animators' favorite dwarfs.

Collins' pantomime turned out to be one of the first times live-action reference footage was shot for an animated film. The technique proved so successful that it's still used today.

The inspiring Mr. Collins went on to perform live-action reference for Gideon in "Pinocchio" (1940).

Mulan - Heart-Warming Movie

Mulan is a movie I will never forget, and I mean it.
After several years, I found out it had a special edition DVD in a commercial.
This movie is heart-warming, magical, and fun .
Mulan, to me, is just as great a classic as Disney's Bambi or Cinderella is.
The sum total of Mulan is greater than its parts , which are oustanding:
story, music, artwork, voices, characterization, etc...
Mulan, the character, is animated by Mark Henn, one of the main animators behind the beautiful and timeless Disney heroines of the 90's.
Like Jasmine, Mulan's movements are feminine, lively, and nuanced, and show how much love he put into his work.
Her facial expressions are subtle but clear, showing both her intelligence and her girlish immaturity.

Tarzan - Disney's Great Film

Tarzan is a brilliant film.

Disney have produced some of the most famous and loved films in history, so you expect a quality film.

Tarzan is right up there, I think it is the best Disney film since Lion King, with beautiful animation, a catching soundtrack, brilliant voice acting and a nice story.

In other Disney movies the characters themselves have sang the musical parts, but here it is left to Phil Collins in the background, which works excellently.

The soundtrack fits perfectly with what is happening on screen, and tunes you are bound to be singing to yourself long after the film has finished.

In 1923 ,Walt and Roy Disney founded in Kansas the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio that was called Laugh-O-Grams. In that year they went bankrupt .

Walt Disney moved to Los Angeles, California and opened a new studio in his uncle's garage.

He started new style in animation that combined live action and animation.

The series of cartoons he produced was called "Alice Comedies" and featured a live action girl with animated characters.

In 1924 , Disney's Alice series goes into distribution.

Tex Avery - Father of Daffy Duck And Bugs Bunny

Tex Avery was the true genius behind the cartoon boom at Warner Bros.
and MGM in the 1940s as well: he abandoned Disney's ultra-realistic approach took the art of animation to an entirely new level.

While Disney's cartoons strived to create painstakingly lifelike imitations of reality, Avery's cartoons did things that could only be done in cartoons.
